Description
Advanced Tower Services, LLC. is currently seeking a Construction Project Manager in our Albuquerque, New Mexico office. We are looking for a skilled applicant with a strong technical background in Telecommunication Tower Construction and Modifications and civil construction, can manage construction projects of various types and size. This person has 2 years of experience managing construction projects and five or more years field experience. Responsibilities include the obtaining labor, materials, equipment, and subcontracting quotes, determining quantities of these items, properly tabulating costs, and summarizing into an official quote utilizing proper overhead, margin, and tax allocations. This job is also responsible for reevaluating project needs throughout the course to adjust to environmental restraint, budget changes, and managing multiple projects at one time efficiently and effectively. Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with field team and stakeholders.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyzing requirement documents, blueprints, Scopes of Work, Contracts, and project plans to gain a thorough understanding of the project
Communicating Scope of work to field team
Understanding materials and equipment will be needed per project and effectively reserving resources required
Communicating with customers, vendors, suppliers, and co-workers in a professional manner
Determining what factors of production will influence the cost of a service or product
Preparing material estimates and cost estimates for the product or service
Creating labor estimates for any project
Developing and maintaining relationships with company vendors and contractors
Managing bids from vendors and contractors
Managing projects, performing site walks as needed
Using bid data to prepare detailed a cost analysis and budget

Must pass Drug testing and DOT physical
Must pass criminal background check
Ability to travel on a regular basis
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience in construction, civil and telecommunication
Excellent oral and written communication skills (required).
High attention to detail with ability to organize and prioritize tasks and documentation.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook, and Adobe .pdf editor. (required).
Knowledge of estimating techniques and tools
Strong organizational and problem solving skills, demonstrated attention to detail.
Ability to gather and analyze information skillfully & effectively.
Great organizational, problem solving skills and time management skills to meet expected deadlines. Ability to anticipate issues and plans accordingly.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Ability to manage and implement multiple projects, duties and activities simultaneously.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret various documents, technical and other.
Education
Minimum 2-3 years of industry related project management experience in similar role, or at least one year experience estimating costs in a related industry. Bachelor's degree in business management, finance or administration (preferred, not required)
