Advanced Tower Services, LLC. is currently seeking a Construction Estimator in our Albuquerque, New Mexico office.  We are looking for an Estimator preferably with a strong technical background in Telecommunication Tower Construction and Modifications and civil construction, can estimate construction projects of various types and size. This person has 2 years of experience estimating construction projects.  Responsibilities include the obtaining labor, materials, equipment, and subcontracting quotes, determining quantities of these items, properly tabulating costs, and summarizing into an official quote utilizing proper overhead, margin, and tax allocations. This job is also responsible for reevaluating project needs throughout the course to adjust to environmental restraint, budget changes, and provide quotes as needed to the customer and/or project manager.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
Analyzing requirement documents, blueprints, Scopes of Work, Contracts, and project plans to gain a thorough understanding of the project
 
Determining what factors of production will influence the cost of a service or product
 
Preparing material estimates and cost estimates for the product or service
 
Creating labor estimates for any project
 
Developing and maintaining relationships with company vendors and contractors
 
Managing bids from vendors and contractors
 
Using bid data to prepare detailed a cost analysis and budget for the Project Manager
 
Presenting prepared estimates to management and other stakeholders

QUALIFICATIONS:
 
Experience in construction, civil and telecommunication
 
Excellent oral and written communication skills (required).
 
High attention to detail with ability to organize and prioritize tasks and documentation.
 
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
 
Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook, and Adobe .pdf editor. (required).

Knowledge of estimating techniques and tools

Strong organizational and problem solving skills, demonstrated attention to detail.

Ability to gather and analyze information skillfully & effectively.

Education
Minimum 2-3 years of industry related project management experience in similar role, or at least one year experience estimating costs in a related industry. Bachelor's degree in business management, finance or administration (preferrred, not required)
